The one thing science has against it is it debunks itself 100% of the time. What we know today won't necessarily be true 10 or 20 years from now. So claiming something today as scientific truth is in essence complete bullshit.
This is also what some call the "Western way of thinking" Take 10 or 20 accounts of what some Eastern doctors, exercise physiologists, and nutritionists might say on "specific" (and I emphasize specific), subjects on bulking up, fat loss, maintenance and long-term health, can and will vary greatly from the same view of Westerners with the same credentials.
Now if were going to argue over whose version of science is right, how does one come to an appropriate conclusion? One doctor does years upon years of research and has every piece of ammo to fuel their claim, then another doctor comes along and claims the opposite with years upon years of research..
Who exactly is right?
That my friend is why science debunks it shelf and is complete and utter bullshit. It's cherry picked data of what the researcher believes in.
